Tasting Notes
The NV is a beautiful colour with straw-yellow highlights. Abundant fine bubbles. Intense, pleasant on the nose. Fruity at first, then hawthorn-flowery and slightly musky. Pleasant harmony on the palate, good freshness and liveliness. Lingering fruitiness: apple and pear. An excellent aperitif wine because of its finesse, freshness and length. Full-bodied, it goes well with freshwater fish and delicate sea fish.
The rose has a generous and elegant nose, with initial aromas of fresh red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry) leading to biscuity notes of dried fruits and Viennese pastries (almonds, apricots and brioche). The fresh attack is followed by a fruity harmonious sensation on the palate. The wine is perfected balanced in the best Veuve Clicquot style of pink champagnes, combining elegance and flair. The wine works its magic – this delectably full champagne can be enjoyed as a true delicacy. A deliciously fruity wine in early bloom, this is a wonderful aperitif to be shared as a twosome or simply with friends.
A blend of about twenty Premiers and Grands Crus, the Vintage Réserve has the power of Pinot Noir, balanced by the finesse and elegance of Chardonnay. It is the perfect expression of the House style, proving that champagne can be a great wine and, as such, makes a perfect accompaniment for many dishes, developing its qualities as the years go by. It goes well with spiny lobster prawns, scallops and sea fish as well as poultry and white meat.

Unique Product Features
True to the inspiring values of Madame Clicquot, Veuve Clicquot remains the most innovative house of Champagne. Its iconic colour yellow was registered in 1877 as the first Pantone to be defined. More than Champagne, Veuve Clicquot is a globally modern lifestyle that embraces events both quintessentially English and modern. Veuve Clicquot's style is further characterised through its wine blend with a predominance of Pinot Noir and the highest proportion of reserve wines to maintain the house motto: Only one quality, the finest.
