There is no specific drinking occasion for the brut reserve. Its elegance and lightness gives it a flexibility to be the champagne for the moment but it is always excellent as an aperitif. Crisp, citrusy aromas with subtle toasty notes lead to an elegant, balanced palate with a lively, mousse texture and a crisp, flavourful finish.
The fresh fruit flavours of the rose make it the perfect summer aperitif. However it also goes well with fruit based desserts and selected cheeses. Fresh aromas of wild strawberries and spice precede the balanced, smooth flavours of red fruits. This Rosé displays charm and a subtle harmony of flavours.
The Taittinger Prélude Grands Crus is a joyous blend of finesse and complexity, striking a perfect balance between freshness and aromatic expression. Pale, brilliant yellow in colour with silvery highlights, the bubbles are fine and form a lasting and delicately creamy ring of mousse. The nose is subtle and fresh, the initial mineral aromas quickly develop into green, floral scents with hints of elderflower and spicy cinnamon overtones. On the palate, its flavours are dominated by intensive fresh citrus fruit. These then give way to a much fuller, well-bodied and mellow taste with flavours reminiscent of white peaches in syrup. The finish is long, rich and extremely expressive. The wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif and as a delicious accompaniment to grilled fish and seafood.
