Tasting Notes
Brut Imperial is a balanced assemblage of the three vine varieties disclosing a succession of elegant and harmonious sensations, a fresh maturity, supple and refined lines, inspiring well-being and an emotion which is appreciated and shared. Fantastic with desserts that are not too sweet, such as tarts of phyllo pastries, also really good with lobster, shrimps and some delicate fish dishes such as oven-poached salmon steaks with mustard dill sauce.
The Rose is petal pink with shades of copper, the nose is aromatic and lively with a youthful expression of wild strawberries. The palate is medium bodied and zesty with a persistent mousse, crisp acidity and a delightful balance between red fruit and citrus flavours. Finishes soft and dry. An excellent choice to accompany canapés or entrees made from river fish, but an adventurous match could be had with lamb or tomato based dishes - try a tomato consommé or basil ravioli.
