This Chianti Classico is characterised by an intense, ruby red colour, which tends towards garnet with ageing. On the nose it is full and rich, characterised by hints of violets. On the palate it is balanced with great structure allied to fine fruit.
The Lugana is bright gold in colour with some green tinged highlights, the nose is clean and slightly aromatic. Medium bodied, crisp and lively, with a delightfully textured mid palate, plenty of citrus and tropical fruit flavours and a dry finish. Makes a delicious aperitif. |
