From a blend of Grande Champagne Cognacs between 10 and 40 years old, with an average age of 15 years this is a rounded, well-structured Cognac, with a fine and intense nose. Despite the maturity of this Cognac it has retained all the elegance and finesse typical of Cognacs from the Grande Champagne area. Initially one catches lightly honeyed notes with orange rind and blossom on the nose. The palate is beautifully balanced with notes of dried fruit and spice that finish with a bite and fire developing into sweet honey nuances.
